Diaries: Malaysia Trip Day 2

To see about all my travel diaries, go here.

Prologue: A fun series that documents some of the things that I come across during my travels.

On Day 2 of the 3-day Malaysia Trip I took with my cousin in December, we went to the island of Kedah, more specifically to the town of Langkawi. Since we had time to get to the Sky Bridge we thought we will take the boat tour of the island, see it from the back waters of Indian Ocean. We saw some wild life and nature at it’s raw moment. We also got to come back to main land through the tempestuous waters of Indian Ocean. Never knew Indian Ocean was this rough. Phew!

This was also a very brave thing for me to do, since we were on a boat. Surprisingly the fear took over my nausea and I didn’t throw up. :P. We were taken through the Kilim Geoforest Park where we got to see some wild life – White-Bellied Sea Eagles, Bats hanging inside the Kelawar Caves, passed under a Crocodile Cave (so named because of its shape), and lots of Monkeys. There were monkeys every where. We also got to see a Gorilla shaped mountain (the bottom right in the pic below).
