Prologue: I am always amazed at imagination that artists use various colors to bring to life on a wall. And so also what they create with any kind of metal. These are some of those murals, sculptures and any kind of amazing artwork that I came across in my travels and adventures.
The front facade of the National Museum of Malaysia is dominated by two huge murals by artist Cheong Lai Tong made of Italian glass mosaic are among artworks of the modern/post-independence era. The west mural depicts traditional culture and arts including the making of traditional keris swords, boats, batik cloth and kites. The east mural’s focus is more on historical events.
