Prologue: A fun series that documents my travels.
While in India this past winter, we went on a mini pilgrimage tour covering Shirdi and its surrounding areas along with two Jyotirlingam Temples (= Temple of Lord Shiva). We saw Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir; Khandoba Mandir in Shirdi, Shree Shanidev Temple in Shani Shingnapur (= Temple for Lord Shani) and two of the 12 Jyotirlingas – Vaidyanath temple in Parli (= depicts Lord Shiva as a doctor) and Grishneswar Temple in Sambhajinagar. A four day rapid trip I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed.
