Prologue: Here is a fun series showcasing unique or interesting abodes that I have lived or visited during my travels.
We stayed at a Satram (= Choultry or Shelter) while we were in Shirdi. And what beautiful interiors and exteriors it came with. I had a blast doing photoshoots of my parents. Needless to say dad after a while gave up and left it to just me and mom. 😛
Here are the gorgeous interiors all showcasing the beautiful Indian stone work.
The interiors also came with these two shrines – one for Lord Ganesha and one for Shirdi Sai Baba. Very artistically decorated and daily poojas performed.
We didn’t get to take a lot of exteriors, but here a few.
