It has been close to 23 years that I had this delicious fruit – Wood Apple aka Velagapandu as we call in my mother tongue Telugu. My mom opened the fruit, then mashed the pulp with sugar and rolled them into small bite size balls. They taste a bit tangy and a bit sweet, and oh so delicious. Yum!
