Our trip to Death Valley began coming across the World’s Tallest Thermometer in the Baker, CA – commemorating the weather record of 134 deg Fahrenheit in Death Valley on June 10, 1913. The following day we found the World’s Largest Firecracker – a water tank cleverly disguised as a firecracker – near the Alien Center enroute to Amargosa Valley.
