Prologue: A fun series that documents my travels.

Day 2 of our Jaipur Trip took us towards two forts – Jaigarh and Nahagarh. Enroute to Jaigarh fort we stopped at Panna Meena Ka Kund famous for this remote Stepwell built 400 years ago.  This provided much needed solution to water problem in Rajasthan’s dry arid conditions. Check out the diamond pattern the steps form. Also the water is green due to environmentally friendly algae residing there. Returning back from Nahagarh fort we stopped by to see Jal Mahal from the street. This was strictly prohibited to go. It is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake.
