Diaries: Jaipur Day 2 – Jaigarh Fort

To see about all my travel diaries, go here.

Prologue: A fun series that documents my travels.

Now we get to Jaigarh Fort that we visited on Day 2. It is located on one of the peaks of Aravalli Forest. After seeing City Palace we realized that all the forts have similar buildings inside the fort, may be with few variations based on what the forts were used for. This fort was built in 1726 and was designed to protect the Amer Fort.

Beautiful architecture all around, along with a splendid view of the Aravalli Forest.

Check out the water source for the fort.

My signature twirling video.

This fort in particular came with several art galleries promoted by the current king of Jaipur encouraging the traditional art of Rajasthan. We saw several musicians as well spouting their talents.
