Bites N Flavors – Veranda, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

For posts on various restaurants that I visited, go here.

Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.

The only place where we could find decent breakfast in the resort was this Mexican themed restaurant named Veranda. On Day 1 we did our dinner there.

Verdictum: Wish they spoke English also and had more vegetarian options; but after a week we were tired of eating Mexican Food.

Here are my 2 cents:

First Impressions:

Decorated per the season.

Lovely food and desserts, Less of Vegetarian though.

Courteous staff but some were biased if we didn’t speak Spanish.

Amelioration:

We had breakfast everyday but the restaurant never gave us a big table to seat 8. We were always split up while the neighboring big table had only three people and they got it because they spoke Spanish.
