Chasing Waterfalls: Los Horcones River, Botanical Park, Mexico

Prologue: Inspired by the 2021 Hallmark romantic movie Chasing Waterfalls started my own blog, featuring the local waterfalls in the State of Connecticut where I live, and also may be any waterfalls that I might come across in my trips around America and the World. The film was released in July 2021, as part of their “Spring Fling” lineup. The lead actress, Cindy Busby, as Amy Atwater, a photo journalist, goes to a remote town to find a mythical waterfall. Her co-star Christopher Russell, as Mark North is her guide on this enchanted trip.

Now I am chasing these majestic and gorgeous waterfalls. Next up is not so typical waterfall but the Los Horcones River flowing through the Botanical Garden.

Los Horcones flows thru the Botanical Garden at Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Its not a typical waterfall, but we later realized that there was indeed a small waterfall if we had gone to other side of the Garden or had more time. We walked down the trail to the river, sat by it to eat our lunch and enjoyed the cool breeze.

Here is a snippet of the river with one of my favorite Telugu(= Indian Language) song in the background. I picked as that was the first that came to my mind when I was at the river.
