Bites N Flavors – Frida Mexican Kitchen, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

For posts on various restaurants that I visited, go here.

Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.

Another Mexican place we found at the resort that was good for dinner. First time we went we didn’t get a table, second time we got a table and very good service. Third time around the server didn’t know English and our menu got totally askew. 😛

Verdictum: Need English speaking servers too as the third time didn’t turn out to be a charm. Ok for one time if you know the language.

Here are my 2 cents:

First Impressions:

Beautiful interiors depicting life of Mexican farming villages.

First time around food was excellent. Second time the menu got skewed as the server didn’t speak English. 😦

This is what we got when we ordered Cheese Quesadilla on our second visit. 😦

Courteous staff but wish they were bi-lingual.

Amelioration:
