Prologue: Have you ever looked at a clock tower and wondered why one was constructed in the first place? This series is for those grand clocks sitting atop a tower or hanging on to a tower wall facing the town and proudly proclaiming the time. I would love to go inside and see the mechanics, but not always possible.
These kind of road clocks, we get to see everywhere in US wherever I go. They all charm me. This one was on 5th Avenue in NYC, not sure the street. And pretty surprised that this clock was being maintained although this was half hour behind. 🙂
