For posts on various restaurants that I visited, go here.
Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.
Since it was a very cold day when we attended the Chinese New Year in February this year, we stopped in for a breakfast brunch at Katalina’s. I don’t drink tea or coffee, but my friends loved the smell and off we went.
Verdictum: Scrumptious Cup Caakes, Cakes, etc with excellent coffee, it’s a good coffee and cake place.

Here are my 2 cents:
First Impressions:
Interiors were funny and represent coffee (note the writing on the walls and pictures) 😛 along with plants. We even saw a display of ceramic cupcakes. 🙂

Whatever we ordered was really good – Coffee, Cup Cakes, Brownies
Amelioration:
Only thing I can say is for someone who doesn’t drink Coffee or Tea, wish there were some Finger Sandwiches or Ice Cream.
