Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.
Shai is the Ethiopian word for Tea. So when we went to Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant, we had to experience the tea even though I don’t drink tea with milk in it at all (like Indian Chai). It was a little more bitter that Indian Tea without milk but after a while you get used to it I guess. Tasted Good. It’s a ceremonial performance in traditional Ethiopian Culture is what we heard.
