Bites N Flavors – Sunliner Diner Gulf Shores, AL

For posts on various restaurants that I visited, go here.

Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.

A 50s themed diner was our jaunt for brunch on Day 2 in Gulf Shores, AL. Yummy Breakfast all day and comes with its own Newspaper with news from 1950s and 40s. It also comes with its’s own car from 50s that is converted to a booth, and can be taken first come first serve. They even have an old fashioned Juke Box.

Verdictum: 50s styled diner with breakfast all day, even air old TV funny episodes like I Love Lucy, newspaper of its own and a very lovely gift shop to take home a souvenir.

Here are my 2 cents:

First Impressions:

Didn’t get to use the car, but it’s really beautiful to look at. I however got a picture of a Pink Cadillac outside the diner that is owned by the diner. 🙂

Yummy food, and I had grits. Don’t remember eating them before. We noticed old-fashioned wooden pads to hold the check for us to sign. Also note that wine is just Red or White. 😛

They were playing Old TV humor shows such as I Love Lucy.
