Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.
One of the restaurants we visited in Big Sur is the River Inn Country Dining. Apt to the name and the foodfare we got, mostly country and warm. The rooms were beautifully decked with murals and wall art reminiscing old life. Even the table menu came with art around it.
There was beautiful sand art outside the restaurant that showcased 90 yrs of the River Inn.
Verdictum: Delicious comfort food with wonderful décor and beautiful scenery with quality time with family.
