Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.

For my brother’s b’day on April 24th we went to Gurkha Kitchen for dinner. It’s a complete Nepalese style food. Loved the food and décor. I loved the food so much that we tried it here in CT with my friends and it wasn’t that great. The one in CA makes a lot more tasty place.

I loved the décor of the place and it showcased the key elements of Nepal.

Saw this on the menu and they spelled Rasmalai wrong. 😛

Verdictum: Beautiful décor, yummy food, this makes a very tasty place.
