Prologue: May 10th is National Small Business Day. One of those are these cute little mom and pop restaurants or locally owned cafes and dive-ins. This series brings forth those little nuggets of places that I visit for my meals.
My friend liked my pic of Momos that I ate in CA at Gurkha Kitchen. So we searched a Nepalese restaurant to try some Momos and off we were to Himalayan Restaurant in Middletown, CT. Our disappointment knew no bounds. The Momos were fresh out of fridge and fried, so interiors was still cold while the exterior fried.
It came with pretty décor around the restaurant.
Apart from Momos, we ordered Fried Rice too which tasted good, nothing special though. The check was reasonable.
Verdictum: Disappointing food, reasonable check with beautiful décor. Disappointed that we did not get good Momos.
