Events: CPS Poetry Event, Woodbury, CT

Prologue: Another blog post highlighting all kinds of festivals and events be it Indian or American or anything else. 🙂 Sometimes I include shows too.

CPS aka Connecticut Poetry Society, conducted a poetry event to which I went with my friend and her daughter. They both read out their poems for open mic normally, but this time I read a poem as well. It was titled “My Hometown”. I quickly wrote a poem there as part of an exercise too.

Here is the video of the poem I read. First time reading so was a lot nervous too.
