It is take on the old Cinderella fairy tale in this tale. Our protagonist, Sydney, has a step-mother and two step-sisters, when her life changed when her father expires. On a chance to discard his old clothing by her step-mother, Sydney finds a windfall that lead her to the place in Ireland that her father dreamed of when he was alive.
R.C. Ryan dedicates her book to her Tom, assuming the same person that other authors dedicated. Turn out he is husband of R.C. Ryan. That is why Robb must have picked her to write this novella. **Shrugging Shoulders**
It has slight twist in the original tale, but has all elements of the story – Prince Charming, Step-Mother, Slipper, Fitting, at the Stroke of midnight, etc. She find love, a place to live that she can call home, and above all her dreams come true in this story.
