This song originally was sung by Pakistani duo Nazia Hassan and Zoheb Hassan in 1982 as a single. It was produced by British-Indian producer Biddu. Later in 1995 Biddu released a remix album named as ‘Boom Boom – The Biddu Experience with Boom Boom as the title song. The original song was used in the Indian-Hindi movie Star in 1982 starring Kumar Gaurav and Rati Adnihotri. Recently this was used in a Mahindra XUV 3XO commercial in India with a new spin by the singer Sunidhi Chauhan. That spurred interest in me again.
