Recommendation: This tale has a touch of Christmas Carol on the way, although sticks with the theme of Alice in Wonderland. It’s more of a self-discovery by the heroine. Its romance told from a different perspective. Not sure if I liked it, but definitely not hated it.
A True Heart is the eleventh and final novella written by Mary Kay McComas. This is fourth novella, originally published in Down the Rabbit Hole anthology book in September of 2015 in which Nora published her novella with four of her recurring authors – Mary Blayney, Elaine Fox, Mary Kay McComas and R. C. Ryan. This was subsequently released as its own. Sadly this is the end of rode for Mary for now.

She used the theme that goes with book, the theme of Alice in Wonderland, with a mix of various other character from Charlie Brown to Superman to Abe Lincoln to Zorro. Our heroine is pushed into a magic place when she and her SIL goes to hunt a costume for a party. She meets all characters on her brain and in Martin’s brain, who owns the costume shop, on the way.
She learns about her faults and also learns to love and trust in the process which she lost with her first husband. She learns that she is guarding herself too much, pushing away love, and eventually she might push away family and friends too. She strongly believes in second chance, but she at the same time does not forgive or trust folks.
