Prologue: This series brings forth fashion and style from my wardrobe. These could be a little different way of styling the clothing or wearing something with unique design or repurposed fabric or sometimes simply reusing something for a different purpose.
From past few years, for every Navratri, the nine-days of Dusshera in October, before the big event, we have been following a list of colors for each day to be worn every day. We can go for traditional Sarees or mix it up with western wear. I usually have my family, my extended family, and a few friends doing this along with me. It’s fun to dress up, and no hard and fast rule that you wear only traditional wear (at least with my family and friends). π
The colors for this year were as below. We swapped Peacock Green and White because we wear White on Panchami, the day Goddess Saraswati (= Goddess of Knowledge) is worshipped. So we swapped Day 1 and Day 8

This is what my mom did (missed taking pic on Day 1 though. :P)
