Prologue: This is a 31 day event that helps poets and authors all over to pen down 31 new poems in the month of December (2025). Every day we can open the calendar for that day to read about the prompt for that day. Then let your imagination fly to infinity with your thoughts and voice.
Note: I am starting late so might post my poems more than one a day. π
For Day 10 the Prompt given to us was to write a poem inspired by ancient Greek for – paraclausithyron. Basically itβs a lament behind a closed door, and the door can me metaphorically or physically one and literally or emotionally. Here is my take.

To See A Response From You For The Card I Sent A While Ago.
Up And Down The Street I Took A Stroll
Waiting For The Man To Lift His Cargo
Come To Me While I Jump About Like A Junglefowl
And Pounce On Him Before I See The Shadow
That Flits On His Face, Me Holding The Begging Bowl
For The Unresponsive To My Card Written Like A Maestro.
The Man Passed My Home Tsking My Soul
With Him Unknowingly While I Slink In Mellow.
Close The Door Thinking Of A New Goal
To Sing Out A New Limerick On My Cello
