Two Sylvias Press Advent Calendar challenge 2025: Day 13

For all the poems in this Two Sylvias Press Advent Calendar challenge, visit my musings here.

Prologue: This is a 31 day event that helps poets and authors all over to pen down 31 new poems in the month of December (2025). Every day we can open the calendar for that day to read about the prompt for that day. Then let your imagination fly to infinity with your thoughts and voice.

Note: I am starting late so might post my poems more than one a day. 🙂

For Day 13 the Prompt given to us was this. Ofcourse on the 13th day of the month, we get to write a poem on a “new” member who joins and makes it to this obscure group that everyone either avoids or pretty much non-existent but in your dreams an thoughts. Here is my take.

That Eighth Day That Never Was…

Seven Days In A Week, And Content By Themselves

But What If There Is An Eighth Day In The Week.

A Day Full Of Joy, Happiness And Happy Breaths.

This Day Coming At The End But Has Its Peak.

This Eighth Day Was Dedicated To Lost Love

To Memories Treasured And To Ideas Forgotten.

Total Bliss From The Surrounding World That Drove

The Rest Of The Seven Days Come With Their Own Opinion

This Eighth Day Taught Us What Is Important In Life;

Taught Us To Feel The Necessity Of Time.

Tend To The Warmest Things To Heart That One Can Kife

As One Takes The Next Day, Waiting For That Eighth Day To Chime.
