Prologue: This is a 31 day event that helps poets and authors all over to pen down 31 new poems in the month of December (2025). Every day we can open the calendar for that day to read about the prompt for that day. Then let your imagination fly to infinity with your thoughts and voice.
Note: I am in 2026, but will continue with the prompts and poems till Dec 31st 2025.
For Day 25 the prompt given to us was to write a poem with a word that has multiple meanings. One can use the help of online dictionary or look up words to find such list. Use atleast three or four in your poem. Here is my take.
Well
There Is Well In Our Front Yard
Full Of Water And Plenty Of Supply.
But Is Not Well To Drink And So Barred.
Water In The Hollow Pit Is Ugly.
But The Recent Rains Caused Into Well
Over In Flow, Froth And Foam.
With All That Dwell Inside Coming Out With Smell
And One Runs Back Into Their Home.
Oh Well!!
