Prologue: This is a 31 day event that helps poets and authors all over to pen down 31 new poems in the month of December (2025). Every day we can open the calendar for that day to read about the prompt for that day. Then let your imagination fly to infinity with your thoughts and voice.
Note: I am in 2026, but will continue with the prompts and poems till Dec 31st 2025.
For Day 27 the prompt given to us was to write a poem with three or four grammatical correct sentences but totally non-sensical, but they are poetic! This is funny at the same time very difficult for me. Here is my take.
Dance In Trance
Colored Caterpillar Is All Blue In Alice In Wonderland
But Lies Behind My Swing In Living Room
Becoming Flying Carpet Travelling To Shoreland
Collecting On The Way All Kinds Of Bloom.
Pretty Petals Make A Lovely Garland
Rider On The Tapestry Feels Like A King
Zooming In Zooming Out Trying To Find The Island
And Landing On A Sling Lying On The Swing.
Back And Forth Motion Becomes A Dance
So Can You Take The Steps To The Door?
Walking Like A Zombie In Trance
Pull The Short Finger Like A Last Straw.
