Prologue: I am always amazed at imagination that artists use various colors to bring to life on a wall. And so also what they create with any kind of metal. These are some of those murals, sculptures and any kind of amazing artwork that I came across in my travels and adventures.
Apparently the teams of University of CA in San Deigo (UCSD) call themselves Trtitons. Appropriately they have a sculpture of Triton with the name The Triton Legend. Triton is known as the trumpeter of the deep according to Greek Mythology. He is the son of Poseidon, God of the Sea. Triton is represented as a Merman who carries a trident like his father and the special conch shell used to calm or raise seas when blown.
