This is from the 1996 Indian Hindi-language action film Krishna. Music was composed by Anu Malik Lyrics penned by Nida Fazli, Anwar Sagar, Anand Raaj Anand and Madan Pal. Sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya.
Karishma Kapoor, the lead actress, came to one of the TV’s reality show involving singers, and he actually sang this song. One of the singers sang this song. The film was mostly a remake of the 1992 American film Deep Cover. It was also partly inspired by 1991 Indian Hindi-language film Meri Aawaz Suno which itself was a remake of a Indian Kannada-language 1981 film Antha.
Since I wear anklets all the time, my friends tease me with this song.
There is a female version of the song too. It was sung by Alka Yagnik. Lyrics are slight different from the male version.
