This song is from the 1967 Indian Hindi-language spy thriller film Farz (= Duty). The film is a remake of the Indian Telugu-language film Gudachari 116 in 1966. It had two sequels, Keemat (1973) starring Dharmendra and Raksha (1982) starring Jeetendra again.

Music was composed by Laxmikant – Pyarelal (A musical brother duo) to the Lyrics penned by Anand Bakshi. Sung by Mukesh and Lata Mangeshkar

This song has been part of a medley anthology in the 1989 Indian Hindi-language action romance film Maine Pyar Kiya.
