Prologue: I am always amazed at imagination that artists use various colors to bring to life on a wall. And so also that they create with any kind of metal. These are some of those murals, sculptures and any kind of amazing artwork that I came across in my travels and adventures.
The Lord Stanley’s Gift Monument in Ottawa in Ontario, Canada commemorates the donation of the Stanley Cup ice hockey championship trophy by Canada’s Governor-General the Lord Stanley of Preston in 1893. Not knowing the history I was amazed at the huge bowl-like sculpture when we came upon it during our stroll in Ottawa streets, and I wondered why there was no spoon. Now I know. ๐ It wasnโt a bowl, but a cup. ๐
