Imagine-Art: Merino Sheep & Time Capsule

For posts on all Murals, Sculptures and Artwork I have come across, go here.

Prologue: I am always amazed at imagination that artists use various colors to bring to life on a wall. And so also what they create with any kind of metal. These are some of those murals, sculptures and any kind of amazing artwork that I came across in my travels and adventures.

This is a sculpture of Merino Sheep represents the countless number of them that were brought to the Cargill Falls in Putnam, Connecticut when War of 1812 saw an increase in the need for wool and wool clothing in United States. In 2005 town of Putnam buried a Time Capsule right beside the Merino Sheep sculpture to celebrate the Sesquicentennial (150 yrs) Celebrations. It will be opened in 2055.
