Mod & Groovy: Tricolor Saree

For all posts in this series, go here.

Prologue: This series brings forth fashion and style from my wardrobe. These could be a little different way of styling the clothing or wearing something with unique design or repurposed fabric or sometimes simply reusing something for a different purpose.

For the Indian Independence Day this year (2023) which annually falls on August 15th, I wore this tricolor saree to emulate the Indian Flag – Saffron, White and Green. I sported green bangles on one hand and orange-ish bangles on the other hand; and finished it with blue tanzanite stoned necklace and earrings to emulate the blue wheel in the center of the flag.

Mom also sported orange colored saree and we did a mini photoshoot at the Mill Pond Falls in the town where I live.
