Annual Solar Eclipse – Oct 14 2023

This year US saw the Annual Solar Eclipse on Oct 14th (2023). This Eclipse is different from the Total Solar Eclipse. With this the moon is a little farther from sun so when it covers the sun, it leaves a ring around the moon known as The Ring of Fire.

It was only 20% visible from the State of Connecticut. Originally I had wanted to go down to Texas or New Mexico where some of the locations was 100% visible. My change in health situation did not allow me to do. So I contended myself looking at the live telecast provided by NASA. Even if I was watching on YouTube, the eclipse was still magnificent and beautiful. I hope whoever could see it stepped out and checked out this rare Annual Solar Eclipse which will not be seen in US again until February of 2046.
