Prologue: I am always amazed at imagination that artists use various colors to bring to life on a wall. And so also what they create with any kind of metal. These are some of those murals, sculptures and any kind of amazing artwork that I came across in my travels and adventures.
Most Hindu Weddings have a ritual called Saptapadi – walking the 7-steps. After tying the sacred knot known as the mangalasutra, the newly-wed couple takes seven steps together, or seven rounds around a sacred fire, during which the marriage is solemnized. This refers to the seven promises of marriage that a bride and groom take with each step. Here is one at a wedding I attended during my recent India trip. Love the colors and the artwork of these steps.
