An amazing once in a lifetime kind of experience I had yesterday when I got to witness the Total Solar Eclipse in its 100% totality. The moment leading upto the peak time had everyone of us buzzing about it waiting in anticipation. And when the moon completely covered the sun and when the world went dark for 3 whole minutes, it was a surreal feeling. No words can explain how we all felt to see the world go dark in the middle of the day.
Here’s a pic showing the formation of eclipse, the eclipse and the diamond ring while the eclipse was leaving.

Everyone was geared up to the event – from fancy eclipse chocolates to over-sized eclipse glasses to Beer of totality. Even my laptop was ready for it. 😛

The next time we get to see the Total Solar Eclipse in United States would be on August 12 2045, a good 21 years from now, which passes coast to coast across United States. I hope you all had an opportunity to go out and see it, even if it was not 100% totality in your area.
