Mod & Groovy: Saree on a Cruise Ship

Prologue: This series brings forth fashion and style from my wardrobe. These could be a little different way of styling the clothing or wearing something with unique design or repurposed fabric or sometimes simply reusing something for a different purpose.

One of the bucket list item was to go on a Cruise Ship which I don’t know if I will ever repeat it. Another bucket list was to wear a saree while on a Cruise Ship. And both came true this past February. I wore this beautiful light yellow colored Kerala Cotton saree with peacock feathers painted all over, and two huge gorgeous peacocks painted on the Pallu. For accessories, I wore yellow and white bead necklace with peacock pendant and gold colored peacock earrings; and a huge bracelet to go with the theme. I was glad my friends also indulged me when they wore sarees for a little while.
