For posts on all structures such as temples, churches and buildings / museums I have come across, go here.
Prologue: A series that showcases the large statues, beautiful temples and churches I visit in my travels or I accidentally come across while taking an off-beaten path. And sometimes yes, I would include buildings and palaces too. Sometimes Museums get involved too.
We went to the museum in Willimantic, CT in June. But it is part of Eastern CT State University, so it was closed for the school year and will open when the University opens in September. But we managed to take some of the artwork on the outside of the museum (From L to R, Top to Bottom): A dress made entirely using little cocktail umbrellas; Sculpture made of Straw by Aziel Rivera; Beatrice Modisett’s Fissure II; Some of the art work by Serge Geffard; Metal Construction by Ben Sullivan; Some more art work by Serge Geffard; Another Straw sculpture that looks like Human beings.
