This song is from the 1956 Indian Telugu-language drama film Bhale Ramudu (= Even Though Rama). It is a remake of the Indian Hindi-language film Kismet (1943). The film was simultaneously made in Indian Tamil-language as Prema Pasam.
Music was composed by S. Rajeswara Rao to the Lyrics penned by Vempati Sadasivabrahmam. Sung by Ghantasala and P. Leela.
There is female version only of this song sung by P. Leela. Never knew that.
