Imagine-Art: Modern Head

For posts on all Murals, Sculptures and Artwork I have come across, go here.

Prologue: I am always amazed at imagination that artists use various colors to bring to life on a wall. And so also that they create with any kind of metal. These are some of those murals, sculptures and any kind of amazing artwork that I came across in my travels and adventures.

Modern Head can be seen I Yale University campus precisely behind Peabody Museum in New Haven, Connecticut. Originally sculpted by Roy Fox Lichtenstein in 1989, it was presented to Yale’s president Richard Levin in 2013. Interesting note of fact though is about the three lines of Wi-Fi symbol on the top of the sculpture. How did Roy come up with that at least 8 years prior to Wi-Fi was first introduced in 1997! I wonder!
