Prologue: I have been meaning to write a series about Holidays and Observances that we (my family and friends) follow in both India (my birth country) and USA (my adopted country). This series is dedicated to those. On a side note, perhaps I might witness some of the celebrations from other countries as well that may get their way into this series. š
The Resurrection Sunday aka Easter was celebrated on April 9th this year (2023). It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, three days after he was crucified by Romans around 30 A.D. Easter is celebrated with various activities and food involving eggs since eggs symbolize rebirth and renewal.

There are also Easter Bunnies involved in the festivities, again symbolizing fertility considering Rabbits are most fertile animals. Folks enjoy participating in Egg Hut, Egg Tapping, and Egg Dance on this day.
I’ve never heard of Egg Tapping or Egg Dance. Interesting!
