Prologue: Two of my favorite things that Mother Nature gives us to feast at are the Sunrise and Sunset. I can never get enough of them. So for 2022, I picked a Sunrise-Sunset themed blog where I will be posting one collaged picture of a Sunrise and a Sunset, one for each month of the year. Hoping that you will enjoy this photo collage of two of my favorite topics as well!
Month of May had been many days of fever and cold for me and the remaining days were filled with cloudy and rainy days. So getting a sunrise or sunset picture was hard for me. However, I found that there is beauty in them even with the clouds hiding the gorgeous sun. So here we are, cloud filled sunrise and sunset for May.
For Sunrise, I went to Happy Landings Protected Open Space in Brookfield, CT. And what a beautiful sunrise I witnessed with the backdrop of the windmills.
I don’t know a lot of history about the windmills and why they are there, but there are two windmills in this wide open space, with one of them having a tag “Happy Landing, USA” attached to it.
I was not the only one to witness the sunrise that day. This cute couple was also beside me.
And ofcourse the ever faithful moon that shows its presence even with the bright sun shining to wink it out.
For Sunset, I had not been that lucky. This was the best I could capture at Wethersfield Cove in Old Wethersfield, CT. It was a busy evening with lots of people around boating, fishing and having a picnic. But the sun was in a mood that day.
