Prologue: Two of my favorite things that Mother Nature gives us to feast at are the Sunrise and Sunset. I can never get enough of them. So for 2022, I picked a Sunrise-Sunset themed blog where I will be posting one collaged picture of a Sunrise and a Sunset, one for each month of the year. Hoping that you will enjoy this photo collage of two of my favorite topics as well!.
For the month of December, I am bringing you the Sunrise and Sunset from California, or at least going towards CA. š With this post I conclude my Sunrise-Sunset series for 2022. Watch this space for a new series for 2023 with related to Sun, Moon, Stars or Planets. Happy Holidays everyone !!!
This month I decided to spend Christmas and New Year with my youngest brother and his family in California. Enroute to his city, my fight had a stop-over at Chicago, Illinois. The early morning flight provided me with a perfect rising sun over the landing and taking off of airplanes at the airport.

As we were landing, though the sun was not up, the sky was covered in bright orange hues and you could see the Chicago Skyline in the distant.

For Sunset I had two options to post. One from my neighborhood in Connecticut, and one from California. Keeping with the theme, I am picking the one from CA near my brother’s home as the main pic. You can scroll down to find the one that I took in Connecticut too.
From the park closer to where my brother lives, we get gorgeous sunsets every single day no matter what the cloud coverage could be. Here is one thru some homes while the sun is setting behind the distant clouds.

I also experimented taking sunset through my car’s side mirror. I think I might need to adjust the settings a little more, but all in all I captured the reflection of the setting sun pretty neatly. This is coming from Connecticut though. š
